Making out of tune pianos a thing of the past...

Easy Keys

This system will be designed to be mounted inside of upright pianos

Mission Statement

Acoustic pianos frequently go out of tune due to the constant tension put on the strings, changes of heat and humidity, and even normal use of the instrument.† A frequently-played piano needs to be tuned at least once per month; even a piano that isnít played often should be tuned twice a year. A piano used in a recording studio may be tuned as many as 3 or 4 times a week, a costly situation when one considers that a single tuning by a traditional technician costs up to $200. The goal of this project is to create a fully-automated, user friendly self-tuning piano that will save the user time and, more importantly, money.
