Welcome to Castle Point Medical Technologies!

Castle Point Medical Technologies (CPMT) is responsible for streamlining emergency room triage by designing the Digital Triage Assistant (DTA) - an integrated, scalable, smart system capable of vital sign monitoring, patient registration, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) connectivity. The system can be operated by a technician, freeing up nurses to do more specialized tasks while still providing a full set of initial patient vital signs to support triage assessment and clinical evaluation.

May 26, 2010
The Digital Triage Assistant has been chosen to receive the top prize in Stevens' Technogenesis® Senior Design Competition! The win highlights the project as an extremely marketable system in the growing field of eHealth technologies.

May 8, 2010
We have placed first at the annual IEEE Senior Design Competition at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY! The win carries with it an $8,000 grand prize for further project development.

Our final design report has been finished and submitted, along with a proposal to the Stevens Senior Design Technogenesis Competition. These reports can be found on the media page.

February 17, 2010
We have been selected as one of ten finalists for the 2010 CIMIT Prize for Primary Healthcare! We are now working hard to ready a final proposal and a functioning prototype by May 31, 2010.
