Welcome to Group10's Senior Design webpage! This website was designed to provide details regarding our Senior Design project on Opportunistic Networking Testbed. This project is in conjunction with the Senior Design curriculum for Electrical & Computer Engineering. Background

In an emergency situation, communication is crucial in maintaining the safety of citizens. However, a power outage or failure could result in loss of electricity and wireless service throughout a wide area, such as the Stevens campus. It is necessary for individuals to relay their location to the local rescue department. One feasible solution is to utilize the wireless technology in smartphones. While one smartphone may not be able to reach the rescue station, a network of smartphones could create a route to an emergency response center. From that point, the rescue teams can track where this message originated from.
